How it all began

Syndaris was not created because we simply wanted to develop yet another AI. 

Syndaris grew out of a simple question: Why should a personal AI have to process everything online or give up the possibilities of modern online AI? 

This led to the idea of combining both worlds. A personal AI initially runs locally on your own device. There, you can talk to it, record thoughts and experiences, and use personal information. 

If you need up-to-date knowledge, research, or more AI power, Syndaris can connect you to powerful online AI models.

The AI provider should not be at the center of this – you should. You decide which information leaves your device and when you want to use online AI.

Syndaris should not decide how much privacy you need. That decision should remain yours.

An AI that knows you

Syndaris is designed to become a personal companion over the long term.

If you want to use online AI for a task, your Syndaris team can submit the request for you. You do not have to maintain a personal account with every AI provider yourself. You decide which information you make available for an online request. 

With Syndaris Plus, personal information is anonymized directly on your device for supported online features. The online AI processes the request using neutral placeholders. After receiving the response, Syndaris can locally replace these placeholders with your personal information again.
